Late Winter
The natural beauty and serenity of the Linear Park is highlighted each January as Mansfield celebrates its parks system and healthy living with the annual Winter Walk. The Winter Walk draws all kinds of walkers, runners and bikers to Mansfield on the last Saturday in January.
Spring and Summer
The Town Park Amphitheater serves as the perfect movie theater for Night at the Movies this May. The event brings the annual Dragon Fun Run and other activities for young children followed by a family friendly movie. Bring your lawn chairs and have a picnic before the movie.
Celebrating Independence Day in Mansfield means rockets, recreation and rock n' roll. Rockin' 4th of July has quickly become a favorite of residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day. There's food, family entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display.
Fall and Halloween
In early October the musical heritage of Mansfield and Texas takes the stage in historic downtown with the Historic Mansfield Music Festival. The festival lasts two days with two stages on Main Street.
The Mansfield Police Department ensures a safe, fun Halloween each year with the Fall Festival event. The trick–or–treat alternative the Saturday before Halloween offers food, entertainment and, of course, candy.
Christmas
The holiday season in Mansfield kicks off the first weekend in December with Hometown Holidays, a community wide celebration that begins on Friday night with the lighting of the Christmas tree. Historic Mansfield is filled with the Hometown Holidays parade on Saturday.
